Pressure Relief Valve

The pressure relief valve is a direct-acting, spring-loaded, diaphragm-type pressure relief valve. This valve can be installed in any location and can be opened and closed within very strict limits. The bottom plug can be removed and placed in the inlet, thus converting the inlet into a flow path. Normally closed by the force of the pressure spring on the diaphragm. When regulator pressure is released through the spring below the diaphragm, the valve disc lifts from its seat and allows flow to pass through the regulator. When the control force drops below the spring setting, the spring forces the control back to its original closed position. Control pressure is applied from the inside to the chamber under the diaphragm. Port indicator is provided for high setting.
